9 Things to do for Christmas in Atlanta

Christmas in Atlanta is quite beautiful and there are so many things to do in Atlanta during the holidays.Even though the chances of a white Christmas may be extremely slim, in a vibrant metro city like Atlanta, you’ll find so many different ways to get into the holiday spirit.

  1. The Blind Elf at the Blind Pig

    Location: 128 E Andrews Dr NW 30305

This bar is now very popular amongst tiktokers but it turns into a Christmas pop-up bar during the holidays so can you blame the hype? The atmosphere is very fun and the drinks are all Christmas-themed. This bar can get pretty packed so I recommend coming on a weekday or early in the weekend unless you mind waiting.

  2. View the Christmas Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden

Location: 1345 Piedmont Ave NE, 30309

You’ll see thousands of lights during their holiday season which runs from November 12, 2022 – Jan 14, 2023. This is one of Atlanta’s most favorite holiday tradition and some lights are even paired with music! Click here for more information!

  3. Visit the German Christkindl Markets

Location: Buckhead Village District, 290 East Paces Ferry Road NE / Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305

My time in Germany allowed me to appreciate the amazing Christmas markets! The Christkindl markets are right in the heart of the Buckhead Village and don’t worry, parking is not a headache. Discover unique and locally-owned businesses plus, admission is free! For times and dates, click here.

Grant Park Atlanta has some of the most beautiful homes in my opinion. This Christmas will be the 40th Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes. The tours include an artist market, concerts, and a bake sale. The home tours will take place on the 10th and 11th of December. Click here for more.

    7. Holiday Train Ride
