Things To Do In Atlanta, GA This October 2021
As the leaves begin to fall, weather cools down, and fashion style changes, Atlanta begins to pick up with the wide range of things to do during the Fall season. See below to explore all things to do in Atlanta this October 2021.
1. Georgia State Fair
From October 1 - 10, you can enjoy fun fair rides, delicious eats, and cool shows at the Georgia State Fair located on the Atlanta Motor Speedway grounds. Unlimited rides start at $25 but be sure to check out their website as they have good deals such as $10 Tuesdays!
2. Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Visiting a pumpkin patch this year is something that is definitely on my list of things to do in Atlanta this fall. Not only is this something perfect to do in October, but you can also get great food at lots of the farms and take really cute pictures. See below for some of the highest rated pumpkin patches near Atlanta:

3. Fall Fest in Candler Park
Happening on Saturday and Sunday of October 2- 3, this FREE event gives you a great way to enjoy Atlanta. Come out for local food, beer, shops, and more!
4. Visit Haunted Mansion Netherworld
It can’t be Fall without something haunted! Netherworld is a haunted house walk-through located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. For $25 you get general admission and Netherworld opens September 24th! If you like to be scared and want to immerse yourself in fear, this is the place to go!
5. Little 5 Points Halloween Monster Fest
This monster fest is something I plan not to miss out on this October! Visitors get to search throughout Little Five Points for monsters hidden by local artist and the first 300 people win a prize!
6. Fall Festival on Ponce
Admission is absolutely FREE so come out to enjoy Atlanta vendors, live music, and arts and crafts from October 9th - 10th.
7. Georgia Apple Festival
October 9th - 10th and 16th - 17th spend a day on a huge North Georgia farm picking some delicious apples, eating apple-based foods, and visiting great vendors from the area. The town of Ellijay in Gilmer County will be the central location for these apple farms.
